We are excited to share some wonderful news with our Harmony DC community. On Thursday, December 4th, the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) released the annual School Report Card, and Harmony DC PCS has made significant progress. This year, our overall performance scores improved by 50% — a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work of our students, staff, and families.

These results reflect the strong learning environment we continue to build together. From academic growth to student support, we are proud to see our collective efforts paying off.

Thank you for being a vital part of the Harmony DC community.

Good afternoon Families,

Beginning December 2nd, our school will launch a 12-Day Literacy and Kindness Countdown. Each classroom will open a daily advent gift box and complete a literacy-based or kindness challenge at the end of the day.

After completing the first challenge, each class will receive a Reading Tree. They will earn a new piece of the tree each time they complete a daily challenge. The goal is to build the full tree by the end of the 12 days.

You will see daily photos of students holding their completed work posted on ClassDojo. We encourage you to support your child’s class by liking or commenting on their posts. Your participation encourages students and builds excitement throughout the school.

The class with the most completed challenges and strongest display of work and tree progress will receive a prize.

Thank you for partnering with us as we celebrate literacy & kindness
