Dear Families,

On November 15th, our 4th and 5th graders had the incredible opportunity to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Students engaged deeply with exhibits that highlighted the rich history, culture, and contributions of African Americans. The experience was both educational and inspiring, providing meaningful connections to our classroom learning.

Thank you for your support in making this enriching field trip possible!

On Thursday, November 21st , we had a heartwarming Thanksgiving lunch with our parents! It was a joy to share a meal, create memories, and celebrate the spirit of gratitude together. Thank you to all the families who joined us—you made it truly special! 🦃🍂

On October 31, our school celebrated Character Day, a fun and engaging event where students showcased their creativity by dressing up as their favorite book, movie, or historical characters. It was wonderful to see the excitement as students brought their characters to life, sharing stories and inspiring one another.

A special thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who took the time to read books to our scholars. Your support and enthusiasm made the day even more meaningful and helped foster a love of reading in our students. We appreciate you!

We are excited to announce that we will have character day this Thursday, October 31. We are asking that scholars come dressed as their favorite character that exemplifies one of our Mustang PRIDE values. We can wait to see all of the creativity. Character sheets will be sent home last week.

Our students have been hard at work preparing these incredible posters to raise awareness and promote kindness. Let’s all come together to create a safe and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and respected. Remember, standing up against bullying starts with each of us. Check out the amazing posters our students created to spread the message of kindness and acceptance!
