Dear Parents and Guardians,
We will have limited staff available for aftercare on Tuesday, February 14th. We kindly ask our families to pick up your child/ren right after school. If your child/ren has to stay for aftercare, we may have to combine some classes. We do not want to cancel the aftercare, but we will not have enough staff to cover all classes. Please note this is only for Tuesday, February 14th.
We are actively recruiting more staff members to help with our aftercare program.
Thank you for your continued support.
The results from our staff and family mask surveys. We appreciate the thoughtful contributions and suggestions from our entire Harmony DC PCS community. At this time, we will continue to wear masks indoors throughout the building and on the school bus. We will keep masks optional while outside on the playground. We will send out another round of surveys in April, and reassess our mask policy at that time. We thank you for helping to keep our community safe!
Our scholars prepared cards and letters for veterans and learned about the life and legacy of Dr. King.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Harmony DC Public Charter School is now accepting applications for Pre-K3 – 5th grades for the 2023- 2024 school year. Harmony DC is a STEM-focused elementary public charter school in Washington, DC.
The mission of Harmony DC Public Charter School is to prepare students for higher learning in a safe, caring, and collaborative atmosphere through a quality learner-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
We partnered with Apple Tree Institute, a high-performing early childhood charter school organization, for our Pre-K program since the 2021-22 school year.
Our elementary school (Kindergarten through 5th Grade) focuses on strong reading and math instruction and provides students with top-quality STEM education through various courses, such as computer programming, engineering, science, and robotics.
We provide intervention and/or enrichment services to all students depending on their levels. The goal of this program is to close achievement gaps for underperforming students or to further improve performance of over performing students.

Dear Harmony DC families,
After long breaks, students and staff are required to do a Covid-19 at-home test and upload the results to the DC’s health portal. At-home tests were distributed last week in December to all students and staff.
The following link can be used to upload test results.
https://coronavirus.dc.gov/page/rapid-test-result-submission-portal.
All grades are required to test before coming to school Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
If we don’t have the results, we will test students Tuesday morning before they enter the building.
